AAPLA GHAR Visits to Gurukul 2011

On the 30th of July, we the children of Vishvashanti Gurukul, from the 11th grade were given this wonderful opportunity to show our love and affection towards the ones who really need it, the ones who don’t have it, orphans.

This was basically a CAS service activity, in which we had to interact with them, understand their feelings and know what they really want.  We took great pride in knowing how their life style is and to show them how our life is; basically all we tried to tell them was that there is no difference between us..WE ARE ALL ONE.

After the entire interaction with them we realized that even though they don’t have everything they want, they are happy with what they have.  This interaction with them surely did teach us a lot and the most important thing we learned was, to be happy with all that you have.

Our main aim was to bring smiles on their faces and to keep them happy through out and we think we did succeed in this as after everything was over the children were overjoyed.
